Events

Johnsville PTO organizes a variety of events throughout the school year. These events are a great place for students to hang out with classmates, meet fellow Johnsville families, and support our school in the process! These special nights are only possible with the support of our volunteers and community members. If you'd like to help, please check out our volunteer page for more info.

Annual Events

Boosterthon

September 19th-24th, 2024

Boosterthon is a week-long fundraising event to benefit the Johnsville PTO. Students gather support from family and friends, featuring friendly competition for individual and classroom prizes. On the last day, all grades participate in the Jaguar Jog, an outdoor fun run!

Family Fun Night

September 24th, 2024

Each Fall, PTO Hosts a Family Fun Night to kick off the new school year. It's a great way to get to know other families while enjoying some free activities courtesy of the PTO, such as bounce houses, a DJ, face painting, giant board games and more! Food is available for purchase from local vendors.

Holiday Shop

Saturday, December 7th, 2024

The Holiday Shop gives children a chance to shop for that special someone! Gifts range from $1-$5. While shoppers are available to assist students, adults can socialize in the cafeteria and purchase concessions. Mr. & Mrs. Clause may even make an appearance, so make sure to bring your phone/camera.

Heggies Pizza

January 2nd-15th, 2025

Our biggest fundraiser of the year! Heggies pizzas make a great dinner option for busy families or last minute get-togethers. Stock up on these delicious pizzas, and support Johnsville PTO at the same time! Students sell pizzas in January, and all orders can be picked up in early February.

Science Fair

Wednesday, January 22nd, 2025

Students in fourth and fifth grade have the option of competing in the annual Johnsville Science Fair, organized by the PTO. Students are graded by community members and volunteers based on their use of the Scientific Method and presentation. Medals are awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each grade.

Spring Carnival

Friday, April 25th, 2025

Join us for our annual Spring Carnival! Games include favorites like a cake walk and bean bag toss, duck pond, bouncy houses, Pie Your Teacher, and more! Don't forget to buy your raffle tickets for a chance to win one of the fantastic prizes from local businesses and unique teacher experiences!

Track & Field Day

Thursday, May 22, 2025

Each spring, all Johnsville students have fun participating in track and field events. Competitions include long jump and distance runs as well as football toss, jump roping, and more! The event is held at Roosevelt Middle School, and parents are encouraged to join and cheer on their child.

Field Trips

Throughout School Year

Johnsville PTO is proud to support enrichment activities for students. All grades in the school take advantage of field trip funding provided by the PTO to provide unique and educational experiences to students. Watch for more information from your student's teacher!

Teacher Appreciation

May 5-9, 2025

Teachers and school staff give so much to our students, and the PTO is happy to show our gratitude throughout the year. Some of the ways the PTO supports school staff include meals on conference days, fulfilling classroom wish lists, supporting Teacher Appreciation Week, and more!
